Melbourne Square Hosts Hometown Heroes Event

to Recognize Local Military, Law Enforcement and First Responders

  

Melbourne, FL April 14, 2021– Melbourne Square is hosting Hometown Heroes on May 1 from 11am to 4pm to salute the local military, law enforcement and first responders of Brevard County. This free family friendly event is open to the general public. The Hometown Heroes event will include 20+ agencies to interact with the community they serve. Safety demonstrations include injury prevention education, K-9 demonstrations, marine dive teams, bomb response unit, radio remote with 98.5 The Beach, touch-a-truck, food trucks, blood drive with One Blood and much more. Event closes with a lighted police vehicle parade inside the mall, sponsored by Chick-fil-A. Melbourne Square will be also kicking off our school supply drive that will support local Brevard County School in need. Please visit the 98.5 The Beach tent in the North parking lot to drop off your school supply donations and win a spin on the prize wheel.
